Journey into Summer with REISS

I felt very spoiled at REISS' fashion event on Wednesday the 11th of May. This event was held across all of REISS' West End stores and it's aim was to promote their new summer collection. I chose to attend the Barret Street branch. The evening was hosted by by Life and Style journal-blogger Anneli Bush.

I thoroughly enjoyed getting a mini make-over by Clinque make-up artists and then getting my hair done by Charles Worthington hair stylist. After the pampering session I had my portrait sketched by extremely nice and talented Fashion Illustrator- Willa Gebbie. I also enjoyed listening to great music played by a DJ throughout the event.

About REISS' SS16 collection...

Premium fabrications, textures, elegant shapes as well as modern, clean-cut tailoring. The inspiration came from vintage pieces and styles which were carefully re-worked for summer months by REISS' design team.

SS16’s colour focus is an exploration of natural hues, with shades ranging from rich spices to soft, marble pastels. Deep forest greens and feminine blush pinks are key contenders.

There are also also tropical/safari elements to the collection which add a bit more fun and edge to it.

I personally absolutely love REISS' summer collection. It combines modern femininity, elegance and premium-quality designs.
